Lisa Martin is the Firm’s Director of Taxation and leads the Firm’s tax practice. With over 20 years of experience, she has worked with many of New England’s largest companies with a specialty in emerging markets, technology and high net worth individuals.
Formerly with KPMG, Lisa has worked with clients to analyze tax issues and develop tax minimization strategies and has significant experience in stock-based compensation, start ups, research and development and analyzing tax position effects on financial reporting. Lisa has advised partners, shareholders and the self employed in the areas of passive losses, basis limitations, capital gain strategies and retirement planning. Lisa has comprehensive knowledge of the many states’ film tax incentive programs.
